6 Month Engine Warranty
At Konig Engines, we stand behind our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Eligible new and used engines purchased directly from us are covered by a 6 month commercial warranty, subject to the terms below.
What Is Covered?
Our warranty covers qualifying internal mechanical defects within the agreed warranty scope. Coverage depends on the engine’s condition, product description, and purchase documentation.
Warranty Conditions
To maintain warranty eligibility, engines must be correctly installed, properly maintained, and operated according to applicable specifications. Damage caused by incorrect installation, overheating, oil starvation, misuse, or unauthorised modifications may not be covered where permitted by law.
What Is Not Covered?
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the commercial warranty does not cover:
Installation, removal, or refitting labour.
Diagnostic or workshop fees.
Vehicle recovery or downtime costs.
Damage caused by improper installation or maintenance.
Components not expressly included in the warranty.
These exclusions do not limit mandatory statutory consumer rights.
How to Make a Claim
Contact our customer service team with your order number, engine code, vehicle details, and a description of the issue. Photographs, diagnostic reports, and installation records may be requested.
Please contact us before arranging repairs or returning any engine or component.
Warranty Remedies & Returns
Approved claims will be handled in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and legal requirements. Konig Engines pays return shipping for accepted warranty claims when returns are authorised and arranged through our team.
The commercial warranty covers parts only unless otherwise agreed in writing, subject to any mandatory legal obligations.
Your Consumer Rights
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under applicable German, EU, and UK consumer protection law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
